Practice in the rain

The rest of the team had a fly about this afternoon - Bruce landed 18k away to stay clear of the rain. I decided to keep warm and dry!

Great Weather?

I left lovely weather in the UK on Wednesday and it continued into the first half of Germany where it was overtaken by crap weather - mostly driving rain - right the way into Austria.

I’m afraid to say the bad weather is still with us – its grey and overcast in Austria which is forecast to stay with us for the week! There are patches of blue breaking through but apparently that’s just the lee side wind coming through!

Carl and Bruce managed a top to bottom yesterday! - great sky eh?

It’s the opening ceremony tonight which clashes with Austria playing Croatia in Vienna in the Euro 2008 football championships so we are not expecting too many spectators……………

Getting Ready for the Euro's

The team clothing has arrived today for the European Championships and I’ve had a ‘catalogue modelling’ moment - what do you think?

We’ve used the same ‘lucky’ logo as last year in Texas.

Bishops Castle

We are staying in a 1 bed apartment in Bishops Castle which is a small village that is very artisan. It has 7 pubs and 2 breweries which is great for me as real ale is close to my heart. The house was built in the 1500's and is situated over the road from a live music pub.

We are staying in Clun apartment at The Porch House – built in the year Shakespeare was born!

The Boot Tree

On the way back from the task we came across this strange tree in the middle of nowhere.
